Refund Policy

Effective from 2 November 2026.

This policy covers payments for ChronoTab paid plans. Paid plans are sold through our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com ("Paddle"), which takes the payment, collects any tax, issues the invoice and processes any refund. Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms, which you accept at checkout, and Paddle's Refund Policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) also apply; where they and this page differ, Paddle's apply to the payment itself.

Our policy

Fees for ChronoTab are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. This includes:

  • the unused part of a monthly or yearly period after you cancel or move to a lower plan;
  • a renewal you did not cancel before it was charged;
  • fees for seats or repositories you did not use;
  • the unused time when an organization is deleted. Deleting an organization ends its subscription, and unused time is not refunded.

We do not give credit for unused time either. A change that would leave you unused paid time is not made part-way through the period you paid for. For example, a yearly plan cannot be changed to monthly until its period ends: cancel it, keep it to the end of the period, then choose monthly. A change that would leave you a credit is declined, and nothing is changed.

You can avoid a charge you do not want by cancelling or changing the plan from Settings before the end of the current period. A cancellation keeps the plan active until the period ends and never deletes anything.

Where the law requires a refund

If the law of your country gives you a right to cancel a purchase and be refunded within a set period (for example the 14-day withdrawal right for consumers in the European Union, the EEA and the United Kingdom), that right is not affected by this policy. Where it applies, it is handled by Paddle under its Checkout Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, including the rule that the right ends once you start using the Service.

Mistakes and duplicate charges

A charge for a duplicate subscription that we created in error is refunded in full, and we start that refund ourselves without a request. Paddle may need to approve the refund before it is paid out.

If you were charged twice for the same period, charged after a cancellation took effect, or charged an amount that does not match the price shown at checkout, write to [email protected] within 30 days of the charge with the invoice number. We will check the records with Paddle and correct a charge that was our or Paddle's mistake.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from an administrator's address with the organization name and the Paddle invoice number. Refunds that are due are made by Paddle to the original payment method and usually take 5–10 business days to show.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. A change does not affect a charge made before it.
