Choose a plan at sign-up

For admins

When you set up an organisation at Get started, it starts on the Free plan: 5 repositories, 5 seats and the last 60 days of history. This page explains the choices you make during setup, what happens to anything you leave out, and how a plan you picked on the pricing page carries through. It is for the person setting up the organisation, who becomes its first org admin.

Paid plans apply from a date we will announce at least 30 days in advance. Until then nothing you choose here is limited, and you can change any of it later.

On the Details step, the page tells you what the Free plan includes before you choose anything: Your team starts on Free: 5 repositories, 5 seats and 60 days of history. Anything you don’t pick now can be added later.

If the GitHub App can see more repositories than Free allows, the step asks you to choose up to 5 to track. A counter shows how many you have picked, for example 3 of 5 picked. The repositories with the most recent activity are picked for you to start with. Change the choice as you like. When all 5 are picked, the rest are unavailable until you unpick one.

Repositories you don’t pick are not lost. They show under Manage repositories, in the Add card, where you can add them when there is room. See Repositories.

The Members part of the step lists the people in your GitHub organisation. Owners are always included and become admins. Every owner takes a seat.

You can choose to add up to 5 people now, or choose Just the owners for now and add people later from the Members page. A counter shows how many seats you have used, for example 2 of 5 seats.

If you tick Add new GitHub members automatically while there’s a free seat, ChronoTab adds people who join your GitHub organisation while a seat is free. Anyone beyond your seat limit waits until a seat frees up. See Seats over the limit.

Unpicked people are not lost either. They can be added from Members once there is a seat.

When setup finishes, the Finish page lists what was added:

  • Added 4 of 6 repositories, when some of the repositories you chose could not be added.
  • A note that says how many more did not fit on Free, and Upgrade to add them. if any did not fit.

Go to My week takes you to your week when you are ready to start logging time.

If you chose a plan on the pricing page before you signed up, ChronoTab keeps that choice. When your organisation is set up you land on the Billing page. The upgrade to that plan is offered there, with the billing cycle you chose already selected.

Nothing is charged by landing there. The plan changes only when you choose its Upgrade button and complete checkout. See Upgrade, switch or cancel your plan.

Every choice made here can be changed afterwards:
